LISA SHAW - Biografia
Lisa Shaw’s music career expanded when she arrived in New York City from Toronto. Shaw received a friendly welcome to New York City by people in the underground electronica/house music communities. She debuted in 1995 with a single titled, “Makin’ Love Makin’ Music”, written by DJ Smash. After it became a hit in the underground, she released many more singles and collaborated with several productions, a few collaborations with Shaw’s husband, DJ Swingsett and most notable, producer/songwriter,Miguel Migs. Many of these such singles have appeared on many compilations. Shaw released her debut solo album, Cherry in 2005 on the Astralwerks label. Shaw appears as a featured singer on Miguel Migs’s 2007 album, Those Things. Kaba Modern used a remix of her single “Grown Apart” on the first season of America’s Best Dance Crew in 2008. Her second album entitled “Free” will be released on March 10th, 2009.

La carriera musicale di Lisa Shaw coincide con il suo arrivo a New York da Toronto. Al suo arrivo Lisa riceve un cordiale benvenuto a New York da parte di molte persone appartenenti alla elettronic / house. Ha debuttato nel 1995 con un singolo intitolato "Makin 'Love Makin' Music", scritto da DJ Smash. Dopo quell'immediato successo, pubblica molti altri singoli e collabora con numerose produzioni. Anche il marito, il DJ Swingsett è stato suo partner di successo con il produttore Miguel Migs. Molti di questi singoli sono apparsi su diverse compilation. Lisa Shaw ha pubblicato il suo primo album da solista, Cherry nel 2005 con l'etichetta Astralwerks. Come detto Lisa Shaw appare spesso nelle collezioni di Miguel Migs, soprattutto nell'album del 2007. Kaba Moderna usa in un remix il suo singolo "Grown Apart" in America 's Dance nel 2008. Il suo secondo album intitolato "Free" è uscito il 10 marzo del 2009. Mentre l'ultimo singolo nell'album di Miguel migs è "Nude Tempo One" (2011).
